Shacket Looks

Shacket Looks

Everyone is familiar with a shacket and don't get us wrong, we're fans - but there is something undeniably eye-catching about a duster-length shacket. It attractively elongates and frames any body and effortlessly classes up/complements the grungiest looks. The typical plaid seen on shackets is beautiful with solids, patterns, graphics, different textures - anything!! Any shacket (short or long) MUST be layered to reach its full potential so we designed this layered look with a classic long-sleeve waffle knit top and some black jeans but you could wear leggings, dress pants, or pretty much anything in between. Keeping the first layers simple allows this bright shacket to draw the attention it deserves. We tied everything together by pairing a tan studded fedora with a black band, a checkered necklace (because if you're not mixing prints with accessories you're not living), and some chic tan booties!

There's a theme here, eh? Longline, duster-length, plaid shackets are just so damn easy, y'all! If we didn't convince you with the first look, I know we'll hook you with this one. This pairing has us wanting to leave work early because we just bought some last-minute concert tickets just to have an excuse to break out the new 'fit. We went super casual with the rocker tee, but gave you the inspo you need with the high-neck velvet halter top to dress this bitch all the way up. Of course, either way you go - gotta zhuzh with the gold layered necklaces because they cannot be refuted. Tee or top, we're going with the combat boots because well, combat boots make stomping the patriarchy WAY easier. 🀘
